Welcome! I’m Alex, or as my husband likes to call me “LogisticsLex” – a nickname affectionately coined after I organized our first trip together. My passion for travel blossomed during my first time abroad in college and has only continued to grow since. I was amazed by all the world has to offer and shocked by the rewards of going outside my comfort zone. Now, inspired by my own experiences around the globe, I'm excited to share that passion with other curious travelers.
I love exploring a new place. The farther off the beaten path the better. I'm a sucker for a view and will go far and wide to find one. To me, immersing oneself in a place is best achieved through local food and drink. While architecture and museums are great, there is also something magical about people watching at the local cafe and having deep conversations around a table.

Chicago is currently home, but one day soon, I hope to live abroad.
